Pre-treatment instructions

Please let your skincare specialist know if you are on any medications (topical and/or oral), have any medical conditions, or are being treated by a physician for any conditions.

This treatment is not recommended for anyone suffering from acne (grade 4 and above) eczema or psoriasis, blood thinning medication, diabetes, dermatitis, any cancer currently being treated, use of Roaccutane or any skin infections.

No shaving, laser treatments, peels, waxing or aggressive exfoliation one week prior to treatment.

Post-treatment instructions

Recovery time varies from patient to patient, following treatment, you may return to your normal activity, there is minimal down-time and the skin usually heals within 3 to 7 days.

Avoid excessive heat treatments e.g. sauna, steam rooms for a minimum of 3 days post treatment.

Please keep out of the sun/sunbeds for 2 weeks post treatment. If you must be in the sun, apply high SPF 50, reapply often, wear a hat, and seek shade where possible.

Fitzpatrick 4 to 6 is prone to pigmentation and exposure to UV Rays can be elevated in all skin types.

Avoid waxing for 7 days.

NO scrubs, peels or aggressive brushes for 7 days.

Do apply body serums after a few days following the treatment as absorption levels will be elevated.

No self-tanning products for 7 days after the treatment.
